The LocaleGuide package contains a tutorial and the source code for little programs that go with it.
The tutorial is aimed at the general user who is interested in knowing what the locale is basically doing and how it achieves this.
This document may also provide a starting point to being able to benefit from the moredetailed information available in the man pages and elsewhere. It is based on theauthor's own experience learning about locales.

luganda.tar
These are the sources for a complete Luganda locale. You may find that your system already has the charmap file that has been included in this package.

Note: This locale has been incorporated into glibc, so if you have a recent release you should not download luganda.tar. Just check that lug_UG is among the locales on your machine.
